7/6/06 Mommy & Baby Burke

Isn't he cute! :) He looks like daddy but with darker hair! He's doing ok today (post heart surgery) but still needs help breathing as his medications for pain cause him to not take as many breaths on his own. We are very very proud of his strength and endurance for the past 10 days of his little life...what a fighter! Thanks for your continued prayers...we feel them!

I said a prayer for you today

And know God must have heard-

I felt the answer in my heart

Although He spoke no word!

I didn’t ask for wealth or fame

(I knew you wouldn’t mind) –

I asked Him to send treasures

Of a far more lasting kind!

I asked that He’d be near you

At the start of each new day

To grant you health and blessings

And friends to share your way!

I asked for happiness for you

In all things great and small –

But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

Burke, Nate and Chris,

Congratulations from Noah, Dianne and Lance in Entiat, WA. What a thrilling time for you. I am so glad to hear things are going well for Burke. We really appreciate your pictures and explanations. It's like being right there.

We'll keep you in our prayers. Hope to see you soon. By the way, we celebrated Noah's 2nd birthday yesterday. Oh what fun is in store for you!

God Bless, The Hansen's

You are a beautiful and beaming mom watching over a precious and very special little boy. What a beautiful picture of the two of you! Thank you for sharing your story with us - I cannot wait to hear about when you hold him for the first time! Look out water works! If he's anything like his mama - he is a strong fighter full of endurance and faith!

I love you and I wish continued strength for all of you, especially Burke!

Hi Nate and Chris, Burke is beautiful. Sorry when I sent a package I spelled his name wrong-it won't happen again. We pray that this week brings good progress and every week thereafter goes well until he comes home. Krisann
